| Terracina Spurge Tri-fold Brochure National Parks Service (NPS) was awarded a small grant through CDFA's Weed Management Area program to develop a brochure to educate local residents on the growing Euphorbia terracina problem in the coastal areas of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The WeedWatch Program assisted with the brochure's design and layout. These brochures are FREE of charge (depends on availability; shipping may also apply) for non-commercial use. |

| Weed Watch Wallet Card Similar to the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch Wallet Card, the Council developed a Weed Wallet Card for Southern California that veers shoppers away from highly invasive plants typically found at many nurseries while suggesting native and non-invasive Mediterranean alternatives. Upon request, a CD containing the Adobe InDesign CS template and criteria for plant selection will be shipped to you with supplementary layout and printing instructions. SAFE (Sustainable and Fire-Safe Landscapes) Guidebook & 2009 Calendar The Council for Watershed Health partnered with University of California Cooperative Extension in Los Angeles County, Los Angeles County Fire Dept. Forestry Division, and numerous governmental, non-profit, and business organizations (see the back of the guidebook for the complete steering committee list) to develop guidelines for creating and maintaining fire-safe, environmentally-friendly landscapes in the wildland-urban interface that minimize the use of and spread of invasive plants. Funding for this project was provided from CDFA and the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation. |

Cal-IPC "Don't Plant A Pest" Brochures Southern California Edition Cal-IPC's Don't Plant a Pest! program started in 2003 with initial meetings between representatives of the ecological restoration and horticultural communities. The Don't Plant a Pest! brochures suggest safe alternatives for invasive plants still used in landscaping. The Council for Watershed Health is currently the distributor for the Los Angeles region.
